Gorillaz delivered an incredibly colourful performance
It’s rare an artist in his mid 50’s becomes more artistically relevant amongst multi-generations than Damon Albarn. At this point, it’s almost guaranteed if you had to ask anyone under 30 what their favorite Blur album is, few will even be able to conjure up a Parklife, Leisure, or Great Escape.
Damon Albarn was enjoying the hell out of connecting with his fans in Phoenix Monday, grinning like a schoolboy as Gorillaz threw themselves into bringing a crowd that stretched from preteens in Gorillaz shirts to fans in their 40s and 50s together as one nation under a groove.
