It can’t just be a bunch of talented musicians thrown onto one stage with a few hours of rehearsal then go! There has to be context if not history empathy between the players and of course chemistry.
This is a super group formed from, Stanton Moore (GALACTIC, Garage a Trios), Ivan Neville (DUMPSTAFUNK), Robert Mercurio (GALACTIC) and Anders Osborne who has played with to many people to mention besides multiple albums with his own band.
The band is Galactic’s rhythm section of Stanton Moore on drums and Robert Mercurio on bass and features Ivan Neville of Dumpstaphunk and New Orleans guitar staple Eric Lindell.
