Every reunion show is a reminder that every band is someone’s favorite band. "This all feels surreal… I never thought I’d get to see this band!" said the deliriously-excited Be Your Own Pet (or BYOP for short) superfan who sidled up to the Star Theater stage next to me during the break between excellent opener Birthday
On Wednesday nihgt, Be Your Own Pet took the stage at Local 506 for the second US show of their Teenage Heaven World Tour ‘23 with Birthday Girl. Their show in Chapel Hill was their first show in North Carolina since their 2008 show in Asheville.
