Amy Taylor (vocals), Bryce Wilson (drums) and Declan Martens (guitar) founded Amyl in their sharehouse in early 2016. They formed the band, wrote a handful of tunes and released their debut EP, Giddy Up, all in a span of twelve hours.
York Hall is a weird choice as a venue, not gonna lie. But if any band can pull-off playing in a boxing ring in the middle of a hall, why not get these sweaty Aussies to do it? There’s a stupidly large amount of security in comparison to the amount of people in the room and the bar situation SUCKS.
C.O.F.F.I.N.S wasted no time getting started when they got on the stage. The band have a unique singer as very few have them; the drummer is the singer.
