Most venues are similar, but the Rio Theatre is a notable exception. A staple landmark of Vancouver, The Rio is primarily a cinema.
Playing in a completely packed Constellation Room in Santa Ana, duo Alisa Xayalith and Thom Powers peeled off the lush anthemics that saturated a number of their hits like, Young Blood, and, Punching in a Dream.
Thanks to the generosity of iHeartRadio and 2Degrees, hundreds of music fans were treated to an outstanding night of kiwi music for free. Even better the show was all ages ensuring a whole new generation of fans was able to access some of the hottest acts in town.
Hot off the back of their third release ‘Simple Forms' New Zealand band The Naked & Famous return to Manchester after a four year absence, and the crowd have come in their numbers selling out the Manchester Academy.
In what was a dramatically quick set that left little time for chit-chat, singing duo Alisa Xayalith and Thom Powers saved their fiery croons for the heavy rock and synth anthems that they sent shuddering through the venue's speakers.
