Transatlantic is a multinational progressive rock supergroup consisting of Neal Morse (ex–Spock's Beard), Roine Stolt (Kaipa, the Flower Kings), Pete Trewavas (Marillion, Edison's Children) and Mike Portnoy (Dream Theater). They formed in 1999 as a side project to their full-time bands, but disbanded in 2002.

If the much maligned technocrats of the Brexit-bashed EU wanted to have a coherent Union in Europe then this adventurously programmed festival would be music to their ears, jazz being the universal language rather than the common market.
Thursday was a big night for Chicagoland fans of progressive rock. Transatlantic returned to the genre's haven at the Arcada Theatre in St. Charles, where the prog supergroup also performed on its last major tour in 2014.
