These upcoming artists must have their first 5 critic reviews within the last 11 months. The live performers included on this list have a Live Rating of at least 74% as of November 30, 2022.

Arooj Aftab

The Grammy-nominated Arooj Aftab is a Pakistani composer and singer with a varied musical style that ranges from vocal to jazzy. She brought her Urdu-based breakthrough album Vulture Prince on the road to various venues in 2022 usually minimally performed with just a bass and a harp.

Los Bitchos

Los Bitchos are 4 gals from underground London that perform 70s and 80s style Cumbia music. Their concerts are parties that often sell out due to their reputation for their festive atmosphere and lively performances, which is much needed in a year that everyone just wants to let loose.


Hailing from Stockholm, Sweden, classic disco band ABBA is rebranded as ABBA Voyage and is reunited as digital avatars and playing various locations and festivals in 2022. The Swedish band’s performances are mind-bending, futuristic, and unlike anything in live music you’ve ever seen.

Tobias Rahim


Tobias Rahim is a Danish pop artist that is making music festival rounds around Denmark in 2022. His pop sensibilities has already made him a fan favourite early in his career.

The Band Camino


Nashville-based, Indie rock group The Band Camino mixes heartfelt rock and electro-pop that has allowed the band to grow a solid fanbase throughout 2022. They are touring across North America in 2022.


New Jersey pop artist Fletcher often sold out her shows in 2022, touring both in North America and in Europe. She is a pop star on the rise and one to watch in the coming years as her fanbase will only grow with time.


Jockstrap’s eclectic and dynamic sound rocked stages in 2022. Their experimental album I Love You Jennifer B is one of the year’s best albums and the duo’s electric sound is unpredictable enough to go in any direction. Expect your ears to be pleasantly surprised at their shows.

The Smile

Radiohead side project The Smile is not going anywhere soon. Their 2022 shows have been critically acclaimed across the board and have been quickly Real Live Certified on LiveRate. Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood keep pushing the envelope in the same vein as Radiohead always has.
